Gage's Goal
Donation protected
In Dec 2016, Sarah & Dave got the devastating news that their seven year old son, Gage was not suffering from migraines, but had an aggressive form of ATRT brain tumour.
Over the last six months, Dave and Sarah have been off work while Gage endured surgeries, MRI & CT scans, chemotherapy and radiation in an effort to kill the tumour (named "Doug").
During his treatment, Gage remained active, going to school half days when his health allowed.
After the latest MRI scan, they got the unexpected news that there is more cancer. More fight. On Tuesday, June 27, Gage will have surgery to remove the tumour. After a period of recovery (mid-July approximately) Sarah, Dave and Gage will head to Sick Kids in Toronto for high dose chemotherapy.
This treatment period is three months long and requires them to move to Toronto. I ask again for your support while they focus on Gage's treatment and health. Their daughter Atlee will be staying with family while they embark on this journey.
Thank you on advance from the bottom of my heart.
