Everyone in the Harbor Springs community knows Rusty and Dora Gage, and their children Jennie, Danny and Sam. They have touched so many lives, and are always there to lend a hand when someone needs help. They are truly God's servants.

Rusty was recently diagnosed with Polycythemia, a cancer in the blood. In addition to being off work for medical treatment, the bills from medical and living expenses continue to pile up. Because the Gages are very humble people, they would never ask anyone for help.

I am a family friend of the Gage family. I was blessed to have Dora care for my daughter as an infant several years ago, and have remained friends with the family.

When someone is ill, the last thing they should need to worry about is their financial burden. I know this is weighing heavy on their hearts and minds.

So I am taking it upon myself to start this GoFundMe Campaign on their behalf, with Dora's permission.
