Gage David Stacey - Medical Cost

Donation protected
On July 9th, upon getting a MRI for migraine headaches a tumor was discovered near the brain stem. Gage was immediately admitted into Children’s Hospital to have the tumor removed. The following day, July 10th, he underwent an 11 hour emergency surgery to remove the tumor. The tumor was successfully removed but this is just the beginning of his journey. Unfortunately, a common side effect of this type of surgery is Posterior Fossa Syndrome which can appear in varying degrees or severity and has lifelong ramifications. Gage was diagnosed with PFS a few days after surgery but fortunately it was not as severe as it could have been. He lost use of his right side of his body, is experiencing cognitive and speech issues as a result.  The tumor turned out to be Medulloblastoma, a malignant brain tumor, which requires intensive radiation/chemotherapy treatment for over a year. This also will have lifelong ramification because of radiation treatment of the brain and strength of the chemotherapy that has to be used to successful cure him of this disease. I am trying to raise any funds possible to help elevate the financial burden as much as possible as he faces his uphill battle. Although he is on my brothers health insurance, not all cost are covered and being on a high deductible plan you still face high medical expenses. Any donation, sharing of the Go Fund Me or well wishes are greatly appreciated.
