Unfortunately due to negative, hurtful, and disparaging comments circulating on social media, this fundraiser has been closed and all donations will be refunded. The many people organizing this fundraiser are saddened from the response of a few select individuals who unfortunately are preventing the vast majority of community members from supporting the memory of a wonderful young man gone too soon. At no time was anyone involved in this campaign doing anything other than attempting to support community. We will always remember Gage in a good way.

Hello to all our relatives and community members in Treaty 1 and beyond. As you now know, our Friend, Brother, Ogichidaa, Son, Uncle and more - Gage Cameron - is on his final journey to the Spirit World.

A Sacred fire is burning and will be until 3pm CDT on Sunday, July 21 at 93 Cathedral Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. All are welcome to stop in to share prayers and reflection around the fire. Any donations of firewood, medicine, and food is gratefully accepted, but not necessary. All are welcome.

On behalf of the many people and organizations who Gage touched with his bright light, love, and care for others, we are organizing this gofundme campaign to help to support the family to cover the funeral costs for his final celebration of life.
