Friends and Family of Bo and Melanie Peters know of the struggles they have had with their childrens health.
Sadly in late 2015 6 year old Gavin had been diagnosed with ChiariMalformation One. That is where the skull is small to where the brain grows down into the spinal cord. The only way they can fix this is with surgery which is very dangerous. The Peters are waiting to see if surgery is necessary.
Starting at the age of 8 Haylie was diagnosed with Juvenile Migraines. At the age of 9 she was dignosed with Junenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. November of 2015 Haylie came down with severe pain in her lower back. She was taken to the ER where they found 2 kidney stones. While in the ER she was also diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Haylie to this day continues to have pain in her lower part of her back. On January 21st 2016 they put a stent in to see if the kidney stones were the cause of her pain. Her surgeon thinks the kidney stones are not the reason for her pain. Doctors are considering taking the stent out because she still has the pain and she is uncomfortable from the stent and are unsure of what to do next. There is talk of taking her out of town or state for a second opinion. From all of her appointments and hospital stays Melanie has not been able to work very much to provide that second income.
Unfortunately during this time one of their vehicles broke down and is not fixable as well. We are doing this 'Go Fund Me' Page to help The Peters Family out with any necessary bills such as, medical bills, a new working vehicle, and if Gavin or Haylie need future treatments.
