Financial and Funeral Expenses to Assist Pietra

Hi. My name is Lidiana. My brothers and I lost our dad on December 28, 2022 and my mother lost her husband and her supporter.

My brothers and I are raising this money to help our mom in her transition at this time as her savings have been exhausted and to help cover the funds for my dads funeral expenses. This will help my mom greatly until she is able to return back to work.

My dad was born in Sommatino, Sicily and came to America at 14 years old. Immediately he started working towards the American dream. Everyone who knows him, knows him as the pizza man. He built a huge business with Pete’s Pizzeria for 21 years, then expanded to work in concessions at South Beach for 18 years, and finally, he and my mom decided again to give the pizzeria and restaurant business another chance for another few years with Da Piera.

He loved hosting people over, and made sure everyone had a good time.

When it came to family, my dad was very selfless. He worked tirelessly to ensure my mom, my brothers and I had everything we needed.

As an adult, I understand more of the sacrifices he did, to make sure of it.

My dad was a fighter until his last breath. And I will always remember him as that.
