Tús Maith leath na hOibre

We are thrilled to announce that work has officially begun on our brand-new Astroturf pitch for our school – the only all-Irish speaking school in the area, with 245 pupils including over 20 nationalities. Our catchment area is extensive with pupils travelling from Killarney town, Fossa, Caragh lake, Kilcummin, Beaufort, Glenflesk and even as far as Kenmare.

This is a major milestone in providing top-class facilities for our current and future students.

We are delighted to be joined in our endeavour by Killarney Camogie Club. Here in the Gaelscoil we are passionate about well-being for all, and we thoroughly believe that participation in sport offers numerous physical, psychological, and social benefits for young people and we believe that girls remaining engaged in sports is a critical step.

We are incredibly proud of the vibrant community that surrounds our Gaelscoil, both past and present. To help bring this project to completion, we are reaching out to past pupils and families.
