Gaelscoil Éadan Doire Playground Fundraiser

This campaign is a joint effort between Gaelscoil Éadan Doire and its parent body, Coiste na dTuismitheoirí, to create a safe, functional, inclusive and fun space of integration for our students living with autism, An Sáimhín Só and mainstream classes alike.

Our vision for the playground is one of a permanent fixture and base at lunch and break-times for our Sáimhín Só classes, while also promoting integration with mainstream classes and buddy systems.

It is our intention that we timetable all classes’ access to the playground weekly, as part of this initiative outside of break-times.

Our specific classes for autistic children, Sáimhín Só, take their name from beautiful Irish language alliteration that describes a state of contentment, comfort and relaxation, a prime objective we strive to obtain for all children here at Gaelscoil Éadan Doire.

Coiste na dTuismitheoirí will, over the coming Months, run a range of fundraising events in conjunction with this page and we invite you to come back often and stay in contact with us as we endeavour to create a vital and purposeful amenity.
