Gadget Garage Looting Relief

We are a small, family-owned minority business in Wicker Park. For the past 3 years, my dad has worked hard to build a stable business in order to support our family.
Like so many other small businesses, Gadget Garage has already been negatively impacted by COVID-19. While in full support of the peaceful protests and demonstrators battling to create a positive change for our country, the separate group of looters have taken advantage and continue to bring upon immense sadness, anxiety, and destruction to our city.
I have witnessed my dad work relentlessly to protect his business that he built from scratch. My dad has already suffered from a robbery on April 23, and fell victim to looting during the night of May 31 and June 1. From coming home in the early hours of the morning after guarding his business against attacks to working nearly 15 hour days to support our family, I am heartbroken to see my dad and his store in this vulnerable position.
While it is out of our nature to ask for help, we've been humbled by the overwhelming support from everyone, including the numerous requests to start a gofundme.
Any donation will help my dad rebuild (repair his windows and doors) and replace other equipment damaged during the looting.
