MYA NEEDS YOUR HELP
Donation protected
Mya is the sweetest 18 week old golden retriever. You’d never know it when you meet her, with her wagging tail and sweet demeanor; but this poor Angel has been in such poor health for far too long of her life.
Despite her families best efforts, Myas case is still mainly undiagnosed. What we do know is that Mya has severe acid reflux, she is failing to gain an appropriate amount of weight for her age, has severe urinary incontinence, and is anemic. This is NOT what being a puppy is all about!
Her family refuses to give up on her. They have admitted her to LIVS for diagnostics, including ultrasound and supportive therapy. She has seen a neurology specialist. She has visited VCA to have extensive diagnostic labwork performed and radiographs. These have all amounted to a cost doubling in what her purchase price was.
Mya once fully diagnosed will need surgery and further diagnostics to surgically correct her anatomy which renders her bladder in a space where it cannot physically expand appropriately resulting in her incontinence. Her family will do everything in their power to get her out of pain and able to live a happy golden retriever life like she was meant to but they need your help….
