Gaby's Legacy: Lives Saved, Hearts Touched

Gabriela Faith Austin was an incredible girl. She was kind to everyone she ever met, went out of her way to make people smile, and was incredibly silly. She loved to play soccer, watch Disney movies, energy drinks, and her family and friends. Gaby was always so full of life but unfortunately had limitations. Gaby was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2021. It has caused her many hardships but nonetheless she has always come out the other side stronger and never let her epilepsy get in the way of living her life.

On Wednesday January 8th, Gaby had a seizure as she was driving home from work, less than a mile away from her home, and crashed. Unfortunately her brain injuries from the accident were too severe for her to recover. Gaby was pronounced brain dead on Saturday, January 11th, at 2:26 pm. Gaby wanted to be a Clinical Oncologist as her career, unfortunately she did not get to do that, but she did decide she wanted to be an organ donor. Gaby will be saving numerous lives by donating her organs and making her final act on this earth a heroic one.

Gaby was a bright light on this earth that made everyone better for knowing her. She made an impact much greater than most are ever able to accomplish. We love you Gaby, you have inspired us all to be better and live life like everyday is the last.
