Gabriel is a 14 year old boy who loves Toy Story, all the snacks, laughing at his 3 sisters, and being pushed on his swing! He is Autistic and nonverbal, making his daily life extremely challenging. 5 years ago, he was diagnosed with Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS)… making his already challenging life… an absolute nightmare.

His immune system is mistakenly attacking his brain causing extreme, life affecting, psychiatric symptoms. The first line treatments of holistic blends, antipsychotic medications, anti-virals, sedatives, steroids (so much steroids) and eventually long term antibiotic use have all failed to suppress his immune response. The next step is a ridiculously expensive treatment called Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG.) IVIG involves infusing a collection of antibodies (from thousands of human donors) into a patient's vein to boost their immune system. The outcome could tremendously help or even reverse PANS after one or several treatments. Our initial goal of $10,000 would cover ONE treatment.

The treatment would be administered out of state by a specialist and may need to be done more than once. Donations would cover travel, hotel stays, treatments, supplements, etc.
