My cousin Gabriel Francisco Díaz fights every day for his life. He is only 10 years old and three years ago he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He has undergone several operations in Colombia, which cost around 40 thousand dollars each, these were paid for by the Nicaraguan Institute of Social Security (INSS).
Melvin Díaz Flores (my mother's brother), father of Gabriel, says that all surgeries have their effects, today the child suffers from hypothalamic obesity and by medical prescription is obliged to take 3 medicines that they buy abroad. "Some cost $200 , $150, $90 almost every other day, but now the problem is how to buy them, "all that Ihave is what you see here" I have lost my job, my house, my car and all my savings, I am a professional but i have lost it all trying to save my son"
In Ocotal Nicaragua, a group of citizens has come together to collect funds "of any kind" for the child and his family. Gabriel (my cousin) has 2 bigger siblings. My wife Leady Luna and I have created this account to help our family.

Mi Primo Gabriel Francisco Díaz todos los días lucha por su vida. El solo tiene 10 años y hace tres años le diagnosticaron un tumor alojado en el cerebro. Se ha sometido a varias operaciones en Colombia, cuyo costo ronda los 40 mil dólares cada una, estas fueron costeadas por el Instituto Nicaragüense de Seguridad Social (INSS).
Melvin Díaz Flores (Tio de Roger Luis), padre de Gabriel o Panchito como lo conocen, cuenta que todas las cirugías tienen sus efectos, hoy el niño padece de obesidad hipotalámica y por prescripción médica está obligado a tomar 3 medicamentos que compran en el extranjero. “Unos cuestan 200 dólares, otros 150 dólares, otros 90 dólares casi día de por medio, pero ahora el problema es cómo comprarlos, si aquí estoy todo”, dice señalando su cuerpo.
En Ocotal Nicaragua, un grupo de ciudadanos se ha unido para reunir ayuda económica y “de cualquier índole” para el niño y su familia. Yo desde Miami, FL junto con mi esposa Leady Luna hemos creado esta cuenta para ayudar a mi tío Melvin y su familia. Gracias a todos desde el fondo de mi corazón por su ayuda.
