Gabriela Nava, a real life angel.

My name is Melany, I’m starting this fundraiser for my mother Gabriela Nava.

She’s a mother of 4, me being the only girl. She’s a grandmother to 3 beautiful children who couldn’t imagine life without her. She was and is adored and spoke highly of by anyone who knows her, anyone who meets her.. She was and is the light of our lives.

On December 3rd at around 9:00 pm, my mother went out to the backyard.. it was raining and she slipped and fell down a flight of wooden steps leading into the backyard onto the concrete floor. She has severe head trauma, they were able to preform an emergency brain surgery to help with the swelling. She’s currently in a medically induced coma, with a breathing tube helping her. She shows signs of life and that she’s fighting.. but they don’t know if she’ll be in a vegetative state or there’s a big possibility she won’t be the same... my mother unfortunately didn’t have medical or life insurance so the financial burden falls on me and my 2nd brother Juan Carlos.

I set the goal to 50,000 because we’re still unsure of the total cost of this long journey.. if it is more I will be adjusting it..
