Gabriel's Burial Service

Gabriel Vincent Ormsby was born under the saddest of circumstances. He was born on January 14th, 2o2o. His mother, Jordan Bankes, has a serious heart condition and had to undergo open heart surgery.  Days later, her condition worsened,  and her organs were beginning to shut down.  Her heart could not handle the condition on top of the pregnancy.  We put it off as long as possible, and Jordan and Gabriel held on as long as they could. Jordan's condition went downhill, and they had no other option but to initiate an emergency C section. On January 14th, of 2020, our precious son Gabriel was born. He was early,  at 23 weeks. He came out at 1lb 3oz. Jordan and I wanted to give him every possible chance at life. We both fell in love with our son instantly. He showed us strength and character.  Being born so early, his little lungs were not developed enough to get the oxygen his body needed. Gabriel faced a lot of complications from this. He fought hard during his whole life, beating the odds. Near the end, he devoped a pneumothorax, and his vitals dropped immensely.  Gabriel stayed strong and fought hard, and with his strong spirit and the prayers of our loved ones, he bounced back that night. Unfortunately,  in the morning of January 23rd, 2020, he lost the battle, and there was nothing else we could do. God had other plans for him. He is no longer suffering, and is with Our Father in heaven.

Jordan, Gabriel's mother, is still in the hospital, and her condition is slowly improving. We please ask for continued prayers for her recovery, as she will be in the hospital for quite a while longer.

Gabriel's family is setting up a proper burial for him. We are in contact with the Ruggiero funeral home. Between me the father, Timothy Ormsby,  and grandmother Mary Eileen Ormsby, we are raising money to give Gabriel the proper burial he needs. Please help us reach our goal of $1800 to make this happen. Prayers for the family are also greatly appreciated.  Thank you everybody for the support through this.
