Gabriel recover and Juan get an education
Donation protected
As you may already know, our dear friend Gabriel had a stroke last Christmas Eve, which has left him unable to care for himself or provide for his family. Thankfully, he is recovering, but very slowly, and is not able to resume his employment that brought him and his family all the way from Argentina to Utah State University. As a result, the legal status of the entire family is at risk. Gabriel’s best chance at a full recovery hinges on his continued care in the United States. His wife, Alicia, is doing everything she can so he can continue his medical treatment here in Utah, and they are waiting on the US State Department's decision regarding their status. Right now, neither Alicia or the older children are legally allowed to work and provide for the family.
The Saez's oldest son, Juan, a recent high school graduate, has just been accepted to the USU Huntsman School of Business. In order for him to be able to attend as an international student, and in order to get his F1 Visa, he will need to prove that he has sufficient funds to pay for at least one year of his studies. Juan being admitted does two things. First, if he receives the Visa, it greatly improves the chance of the whole family getting legal status to stay in the US and for Gabriel to continue treatment. Second, it fulfills the long term plans that Juan and his parents have for his education. Any help for this family would be so appreciated!
