Gabriel Monge has been a teacher in the Los Angeles area for over 22 years. He has passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 25th, 2021.
As we mourn the loss of Gabriel, we would like for all donations to go toward his passion, his work with his students. Gabriel cared deeply for his students and was intent on finding ways to be the best teacher he could be in service of them. All donations will be used to purchase books in Gabriel's name. He loved reading and believed books could provide a safe place for students to learn about themselves and others. His name, his spirit and his care for students will live on as student's immerse themselves in story. Donations can be made to Luther Burbank Middle School by mailing checks to 6460 N.
