It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear brother, son, and friend Gabriel Imonikhe. He began his battle with colorectal cancer in 2020 and, after enduring chemotherapy, went into remission from 2021 to 2023. Sadly, the cancer returned at the end of 2023, and after fighting bravely, he lost his battle on August 13th 2025.
Throughout his journey, Gabe remained strong in his faith in God and lived as a devoted believer.
Gabriel was more than a dear friend to many. He was a hardworking, kind, and generous person who was always ready to help others. He dedicated his career as a registered nurse at Dominion hospital in Maryland as a Psych Nurse, caring for patients with the same compassion he showed everyone in his life.
Words cannot capture the pain we feel due to this loss, nor the emptiness left behind in the lives of those who loved him.
He leaves behind his loving aging parents, who are now faced with the painful task of laying their son to rest while also struggling with the financial burden of funeral costs.
We are asking for your support to help raise the funds needed to give Gabriel the farewell he deserves. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward covering funeral expenses and easing the burden on his grieving family.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page with others who may wish to support. Your kindness and generosity during this difficult time mean more than words can express.
Thank you for keeping Gabriel and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
