Hello Family. We want to begin by expressing our gratitude to everyone of you during this time Uncle Pile has been in the hospital. Your prayers and thoughts have been felt and have helped sustain the family. We feel so blessed to be a part of such a great, strong and loving family. 

Uncle Pile will now be moved to Houston upon a bed coming available to a facility in the Medical Center. While there we anticipate he will get a little stronger and be ready for what the ultimate goal/destination is and that is TIRR (The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research). A few weeks ago he was days away from meeting their criteria for approval by surpassing and reaching goals TIRR had explained he needed to get to. He had a small setback with pneumonia and now are praying that he surpasses one last goal of being totally weaned from vent and he is REALLY close.  Last month he had already been free of the vent for over a month and was breathing well. We  know he again days away from reaching those goals again to enter TIRRs' program. The hospital he is in is ready to discharge him as he doing much better the last 5 days. and transport to Houston as the family decided to get him close to TIRR and the medical center. Medicare will not cover transport and I thought to extend and inform family of where Uncle Pile is at in his journey to getting the best care and therapy available. We know that GOD has every step planned out and knew of this day and season and will continue to provide. God has and will have victory over every day of this season and we will be certain to give Him praise, honor and glory for His faithfulness. God is good❣
