Gabon Storm Relief

Right here in Gabon, Africa the community needs your help to rebuild after a storm that has decimated too many homes to mention. The task is big, but so is your heart. We have people living here with that have had their roofs, kitchens, bedrooms completely caved in - and it’s a matter of days, maybe hours until the next torrential downpour. Unless we can aid them, this will displace families, children, and elderly without children to support them to look for shelter elsewhere which will be traumatic to say the least.

So many of us want a way to help within the world, and really dont know how to apply it in a way that makes an actual difference. This is your opportunity to do some real good, right away, in an emergency that will literally change lives. All of your generous donation goes 100% to the people who need it.

The truth is, if we temporarily repair these buildings - it’s a matter of months before they are destroyed again. To rebuild a home here in a more permanent way requires 10,000 dollars per home. While 100,000 will not rebuild everyone’s home affected by this storm, it will be an amazing start and completely transform people’s lives here in the community.

In reviewing the damage, we found that the people most affected were elderly without family to support them, and mothers with children.

The culture and tradition here continues to save lives on a daily basis, and has most certainly done that for all that are hosting this fundraiser.
