Hi guys,
My name is Gabi Balkin and for a while now I have wanted to donate my hair to cancer. After doing lots of research I found an amazing charity called Variety Australia.
In short, Variety is a charity intended to give all children the exact same opportunities in life, no matter their struggles or abilities. To accomplish this they have many small programs and projects.
One of these is 'hair with heart'. 'Hair with heart' is a program that collects donations of hair and turns them into beautiful wigs for children with medical conditions causing them to lose their hair.
I have decided to donate my hair and some funds to this amazing cause as I think that it is extremely important. I believe that every child deserves equal opportunities and to feel comfortable and accepted.
So, I would please like to ask you to donate as little or as much money as you like because every dollar counts. Dontations conclude at the end of pesach, the 18th, however I will be cutting my hair in 2 weeks.
