I Got Scammed.. please help with securing my deposit.

hey it’s Gabi! So the worst happened with apartment, I was scammed. The scammer got $800 of my money and I’m screwed. I did however talk to the real landlord and saw a studio apartment. I need $900 to move in. I know I made an huge mistake trusting that evil person, but if you can help I would be eternally grateful.

After I realized my love had evolved to something different I ended my relationship. The four months since I have been forced to sleep on the floor (I bought a 4” Japanese floor to sleep on) mere inches from the cat’s water , food and litter box.

Today I finally found an apartment of MY OWN! My very first ever! But I have no furnishings, from bed to silverware. I’m also trying to fill my pantry as well.
