In memory of Gabino Gómez Garcia

My name is Maribel Salazar and Gabino Gómez Garcia, is the son of my dear friends Gabriel and Ana Gómez-Garcia. I
became friends with the family when Gabino started kindergarten at Government Hill, in Anchorage, Alaska. I was so fortunate to have Gabino in class because he was a great role model to his classmates, but I was even more fortunate to establish a relationship with the family outside of school when our children also became friends. 
When Gabino passed away on August 1st, after a tragic accident, his mother notified me immediately and myself and
other's  began to think of ways to help. I began this GoFundMe when his family, friends, teachers, and community offered to help when they found out about Gabino's passing.   The funds collected are for the following: 1. to help the family pay for all funeral
costs for their child, (no one should have to worry about that after such a tragedy). 2. They will pay for any fee's and transportation of Gabino's return to Mexico.  3. The funds will help Ana, Gabriel and his brother Emilano, and sister Rosita get to
and from Mexico. And last they will help the family have the time off from work they need to travel and grieve the loss of their son.  
As you could see through this out pour of affection, people have shown how much Gabino was loved by his family, friends,
teachers, and classmates. Once the funds are collected they will be given to Gabino's parents, Gabriel and Ana Gomez-Garcia in the form of a check.

Hola mi nombre es Maribel Salazar, y Gabino Gómez Garcia es el hijo de mis queridos amigos  Gabriel y Ana Gómez-Garcia. Yo conozco a la familia de Gabino por medio de la escuela Government Hill de Anchorage, AK en donde Gabino fue mi estudiante en el kindergarten. Desde entonces nos hicimos amigos y sus hijos y los míos son amigos,  
Cuando Ana me notificó de que Gabino falleció en un accidente trágico el 1 de agosto la familia, amigos, maestros, y toda
la comunidad se dieron cuenta de la noticia todos ofrecieron ayudar. Entonces es cuando empecé esta cuenta de
GoFundMe. Los fondos que recaudamos serán usadas para pagar lo siguiente:
1. ayudar a la familia con los costos del funeral  2. los costos asociados con el transporte de Gabino a México, 3. Pagan los costos de vuelo de Gabriel, Ana, Emiliano, y Rosa a México, y por último se usará para cubrir el sueldo de la familia por tomar
tiempo fuera del trabajo para la celebrar la vida de Gabino.  

Como la comunidad ha mostrado tanto apoyo para la familia de Gabino los fondos serán juntados y dados en un cheque a
Gabriel y y Ana Gomez Garcia los padres de Gabino.

Gabino fue un gran niño  que fue querido por su familia, amigos, profesores y compañeros de la escuela.
