⭐ For The Love of The Gabe
Gabe Seidel was born with baseball in his hands.
From tee-ball to high school, from backyard games to varsity fields, he lived and breathed the sport with every part of himself. He was the kid who could hit a ball so far you’d lose it in the sun, the kid who ran the bases like they were calling his name, the kid teammates looked up to without him ever trying to be anything but himself.
Gabe wasn’t just talented — he was loved. By his coaches. By his friends. By everyone who watched him play. His heart was huge, his smile was real, and his passion was impossible to miss.
But Gabe was more than an athlete.
He had a unique sense of humor that came out in the smallest moments.
He blasted Hair Nation on Sirius XM and had a soft spot for glam metal — especially Motley Crue.
He loved Star Wars, built Legos like an engineer, and played poker with the kind of strategy that made you double-check the cards in your own hand.
He was layered, funny, talented, and real.
On November 20nd, at just 17 years old, Gabe’s life ended far too soon. The grief of losing his mother weighed heavier than anyone realized. His passing has shattered his family and everyone who knew him.
But his story doesn’t end here.
This fund is being created to honor the way Gabe lived — not the way he was lost.
⭐ The Gabe Seidel Memorial Baseball Scholarship Fund
This scholarship will be awarded annually to a Fleetwood High School baseball player who demonstrates:
Dedication to the sport
Sportsmanship and leadership
Passion for the game
Heart, humor, humility
And the same spark that Gabe brought to the field every single day
We want to help another young athlete chase their dream the way Gabe chased his — with everything he had.
⭐ Why this matters
Because a kid like Gabe doesn’t just disappear.
He leaves a legacy — in every teammate he pushed, every game he lit up, every coach he made proud, every moment he played like it was everything.
This scholarship keeps his name alive where he belonged most:
on the field.
⭐ Honoring the Player, the Teammate, the Friend
As one coach wrote:
“Gabe was more than an athlete — he was a kind soul, a dedicated teammate, and a bright presence who lifted everyone around him.”
⭐ Where the funds will go
100% of donations will go toward establishing an annual scholarship in Gabe’s name for a Fleetwood High School baseball player who embodies the qualities he lived every day: passion, effort, character, and love for the game.
This is how we keep him alive — not in sorrow, but in purpose.
Not in silence, but in the echo of every crack of the bat.
Not in grief, but in the dreams of the next player who steps up to the plate with his name behind them.
⭐ Thank you
If you knew Gabe, you know what he meant to this community.
If you didn’t know him, thank you for taking a moment to learn who he was.
Your support means one more young athlete will carry his name forward — not in grief, but in strength and purpose.
