$12K Animal Hospital Debt for deceased doggy

Hi, my name is Rachel, and I'm raising funds for my sister Rebecca, in memoriam of our dog Gabby, to help cover their accrued animal hospital debt.

On Saturday, October 22nd, Gabby became sick. She spent 5 days and 4 nights in hospital. On October 27th, we said goodbye.

Gabby was our family's caretaker. She brought our family closer, like a ray of light in the dark times. For the past 8 years, she's lived with my sister Rebecca, who has cared for her like no other, giving her the absolute best life possible. Although I worried my sister might feel lonely when she moved to BC, I was always reassured when she said, "It's okay, I have Gabby!"

As Rebecca and the vets did all they could, the cost of Gabby's medical bills ran over $11.5 thousand dollars. Alongside tuition and the cost of living, this debt is an unmanageable burden on top of an already horrible time.
