Gabby is 12 years old and has been living with sickle cell anemia (SS) since birth. Throughout her life, she has been in and out of the hospital countless times due to painful sickle cell crises. The past three years have been especially difficult, with hospital stays lasting two to three weeks at a time, placing a heavy financial and emotional burden on our family.

Now, Gabby has been blessed with a life changing opportunity: a bone marrow transplant, thanks to her loving sister who is her donor. This is her chance to finally live a healthy life, free from the constant hospital visits and pain. Gabby dreams of being able to run, play sports, and simply enjoy being a child again.
