Hi. I’m Melanie and am fundraising for Gabby and her family. Gabby is a kind, joyful, and sweet five year old. As a kindergarten classmate of my daughter, the recent events in her life, and the dedication and constant love of her family have touched our hearts.

Gabby, while in Grenada with her family to see family became suddenly ill. Shockingly and sadly, she fell into a coma. She received medical care in Grenada, and was advised to return to Canada due to the seriousness of her condition.

Over a week later, Gabby was air lifted from Grenada and admitted to Sick Kids.

There have been insurmountable financial costs, that increase daily. Medical bills in Grenada, international medical transfer, accommodations close to Sick Kids as the family does not qualify for Ronald McDonald house, parking, transportation costs. With Gabby’s fragile state, we as a community would like to help, to alleviate these financial stresses. 

All funds will be going directly to Gabby’s parents to be used at their discretion in this terrible time. Our most powerful tool is prayer, and we continue to pray continuously, but humbly ask for funds to assist sweet Gabby and her family practically.
