Hi, my name is Jef. My wife and I are sponsoring a fundraiser for our dear friend, Jemel Walker, and his family. Although the 4th of July is a time for celebration for many, it was a tragic time for Jemel, as two of his children passed away from a drowning accident.

Jemel is a single father of 8; the children’s mother passed last year from COVID. Jemel has worked hard to care for his family and took them to Florida for the holiday. We are heartbroken to share that two of his younger children, Gabby (12 years old) and JJ (7 years old) drowned.

We cannot take away the pain this family is experiencing, but we are raising funds to help Jemel bring his sweet children home to Atlanta to rest, defray funeral expenses, and assist the family during this time of grief. Your prayers and donations are greatly appreciated.
