There is an angel living among us in Hunterdon County, NJ. She is there whenever and wherever the need presents itself – without regard to her own needs, without regard to the time needed. And she does this – always – with a smile.
She divides her work time between two valuable non-profit organizations: Hunterdon County YMCA and United Way of Hunterdon County, acting as liaison between these organizations and the Hispanic community. But those who know her, know Gabby is always working to help her community, even when she is off the clock.
Yes, you know her, too – Gabriela Bonnavent.
Gabby has run into some difficult situations lately. This single mom, raising her son, a freshman in college, alone, recently had pipes burst in her home causing significant damage and resulting in great expense to repair. Her roof is now in clear need of replacement, another major expense. Her plan to sell this home and move to a smaller home seems far in the future.
Several years ago Gabby lost her husband from cancer and she has been serving her community and raising her son on one salary. The time has come for us to step in – step up - and assist Gabby to improve her own life as she has been doing tirelessly for us. Please consider donating to this “Go Fund Me” to support our angel.
