We are raising funds to help the family of Gabby Arabie after a devastating car accident on Christmas night. Gabby broke both femurs, her left arm in 3 places, 2 places in her right hand and arm, among other injuries. She has been in and out of surgery since around 4a.m. on December 26th. She’s has metal rods in her legs, metal plates in her arm, wrist and hand to assist with stability. She had multiple bruises on her colon and had to get 40cm removed. As of the morning of December 27th, they were taking her back in for surgery to try and reattach the smaller intestines to her colon. Gabby had a successful partial colectomy, removal of half of her colon. They were able to reattach each end to prevent her from having an external bag. She is in a great deal of pain. Gabby’s mom, Rachel, is doing a great job advocating for her and ensuring pain meds are there to keep Gabby comfortable. She remains in the ICU at this time. After multiple surgeries over 24 hours, her body has been through a lot.

Gabby is only 18, she is a hard working, kind, and amazing individual. We’re very thankful she was wearing her seatbelt and that God was watching over her.

Gabby has minimal insurance coverage and will require lengthy hospitalization and rehab for her recovery. Gabby’s mom, Rachel, will also need time off of work to be with Gabby through all of this.
