I am urgently seeking funds for my facial feminisation surgery. 

3 days before my scheduled surgery, a surgery that has taken 6 months to secure, the hospital called me and notified me that I have a bill of $6000 needing to be paid. I had been told previously by the surgeons office that this would’ve been covered, I went through numerous insurance checks and nothing was ever communicated that I would be paying this money. 

I cannot cancel this surgery, any trans person knows how hard it is to exist in this world, and that gender affirming surgeries are life saving. I have gone through so much pain in my life and I need this surgery to heal.
