Gabbi's Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
Gabbi is a sweet 7 year old girl who has recently fell ill. What started out as a simple viral illness quickly turned into something much worse. Gabbi was admitted to UVMMC on 09/30 with a fever and a rash, that rash quickly turned into blisters which now cover 30% of Gabbi's tiny body. She was airlifted to Shriners Childrens Hospital in Boston MA to undergo treatments and tests in their burn facility. Test results are still pending, Gabbi is comfortable and is currently being treated and isolated to protect her from infection.
Gabbi's parents are by her side in Boston, where they hope to remain during her time of treatment. This causes a financial burden for all of them as work is missed and bills are still coming. Shriners does not offer accommodations for families, they do offer rooms at the Ronald McDonald House but there is a waitlist, the only option anytime soon is $150.00 per night. This along with meals and maintaining what they have here in Vermont as well as caring for Gabbi's brother Mason will be incredibly difficult during this time.
Any donation counts, big or small. The Robert's/Robare Families appreciate your support and promise to keep you updated with Gabbi's progress as we are positive that God has this and will bring her to a complete recovery. Prayers are appreciated, we thank God for the healing He is bringing to Gabbi, the strength and dignity He is bringing to her parents and family, and the knowledge He is bringing to the Doctors.
Thank you and God bless each and everyone of you.
