Help Harley get back on her feet with Emergency Surgery

Hi, my name is Shelley and I'm raising money for Harley's ACL surgery. Harley is a 6 year old female Chocolate Standard Poodle. She is a retired St John Ambulance Therapy Dog. She volunteered her time to our community. Her duties as an Ambassador to St John Ambulance Therapy Dogs included visiting McMaster University, Mohawk College, Health and Wellness Fairs, Workplace Distressing and a Youth Detention Center. Harley was always a very happy girl who's tail never stopped wagging. If you were lucky enough to meet her she would put a smile on your face.

Harley has not had an easy life at 2 1/2 yr old she almost died with a severe case of pancreatitis. She was hospitalized and slowly recovered. Since pancreatitis can be recurring, she is on a very expensive special diet to keep her healthy.

Recently Harley injured her right back leg. Harley requires surgery for her Anterior Crucitate Ligament (ACL). This type of injury can only be repaired by surgery.

Her surgery is $4,500 plus medication and therapy to recover. Harley deserves to live a full life pain free. She is currently on an anti inflammatory pain medication to keep her comfortable but unfortunately she is getting worse. Harley needs the surgery as soon as possible. It breaks my heart to see her walking on three legs because the damage is so bad. We are asking for your donations to help cover the cost of this surgery.
