Help bring moose home
Donation protected
Edit- the vet has allowed Caitlin to pay $600 of the bill so Moose can be cremated and she will have to pay the remaining amount of the bill before she can have Moose back.
Hi everyone my name is Bree, Wednesday night moose had his first seizure, he was completely fine after it so he was just monitored at home. Last night he then had another seizure and the emergency was called and suggested to stay at home and bring him into the vet in the morning, but unfortunately he suffered another seizure and had to be rushed into the vet, they were able to give him medication and state that he had epilepsy and that his next dose would be at 9am the next morning.
they let Caitlin take him home with a promise to pay the bill. Caitlin was woken up at 6:50am to him having another seizure which did not stop, he was rushed back to the vet where they administered another dose of medication to stop the seizure, but they had also found that his temperature was over 40 which caused heat stroke and they weren't sure how long he was in that state for so he most likely sustained brain damage and organ failure, sadly Caitlin had to put her baby to sleep as it was the best option. They have now given her until Tuesday to have him cremated and bring him home, I would love to be able to help Caitlin in this hard time, any donations big or small will help bring moose home.
