I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my dog Copper, a sweet and gentle mixed breed (Cocker Spaniel + Poodle) who means the absolute world to me.

Copper has always been full of love, goofy energy, and endless tail wags. But recently, he’s been suffering from a painful and rare condition where his hair follicles become clogged, causing wart-like bumps to form all over his body. While some of these bumps are small and manageable, one on his ear has become severely infected from scratching — and now it’s become a medical emergency.

The infection is so serious that the vet told us the only option is surgical removal of his ear to stop the spread and ease his suffering. If untreated, the infection could put his life at risk.

The cost of the surgery, treatment, and follow-up care is $9,000 — an amount I simply can’t afford on my own. It breaks my heart to see Copper in pain, and I’m doing everything I can, but I need help.
