There are very few people in the town of DeSoto that haven't been blessed with knowing the Mullins family. From sports teams that Gary has volunteered countless hours of coaching to your child being cared for at Vineland Elementary by Freda. Many of you also know their son, Derek. Derek was recently admitted to Children's Hospital with Covid-19. He's on a ventilator. This is an unimaginable heartbreaking time for this family. They've also missed a lot of work due to the illness and quarantine times. I hope our community can pull together to relieve a little of the financial stress for this wonderful family.
