Bryan Bernard is a husband, father, son and Army veteran who is an active member and minister at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC
He has been diagnosed with stage 4 Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and is in need of a kidney transplant. He has been blessed to have our cousin and  his best friend, Joel Johnson to donate a kidney. (He is pictured above in the orange shirt.) Joel is also a dedicated family man and active minister at The Bridge Baptist Church in Supply, NC.
Bryan is a contract worker and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is his only source of  insurance coverage. Any donations received will be used to cover expenses as he will be out of work for 3 to 6 months after surgery.
