**Help the Kapravchuk Family During a Time of Crisis**
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
My name is Laura Collin, and over the past year, I’ve had the honor of volunteering to help families find jobs, housing, and food as they rebuild their lives here in Canada. In this time, I’ve made some amazing friends, and one of those families is the Kapravchuk.
Right now, Olivia Kapravchuk and her family are facing an incredibly challenging situation, and they need our help. A few months ago, Olivia, a brave young girl, was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis after months of excruciating pain and numerous doctor visits. Unfortunately, her struggle didn’t end there. Recently, an unknown tumor was found on her liver, and Olivia had to be flown to a BC Children’s Hospital hospital due to fluid around her heart and lungs. This has been an overwhelming and terrifying time for her and her family.
The Kapravchuk family’s journey has been marked by incredible resilience. Just as they were starting to settle and rebuild their lives, Olivia’s health crisis struck. Her father, Sergii, is a hardworking construction laborer and the family’s sole provider, but he is now unable to work as he stays by Olivia’s side. Olivia’s mom, along with her two brothers and sister, are also doing their best to remain strong during this difficult time.
Despite their own struggles, this family has always been about helping others. They have relied on food banks and hamper programs to get by during this time.
We are raising funds to help cover Olivia’s medical expenses, travel costs, and to support the family while Sergii is unable to work. This is a family that has always given to others, and now it’s time for us to give back.
Please consider donating whatever you can to support this wonderful family. Every little bit makes a difference, and if you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean the world to them.
Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and for standing with the Kapravchuk family during this most difficult time.
With gratitude,
Laura Collin
