Hi my name is Chris I am fundraising to help a veteran and his family.

were do we begin?

as young men we swear an oath tho protect our country and the people who live in it, we complete ours training and join our designated regiment and our army life begins we don’t know were we will go we don’t know what we will have to do or the situations we will find ourselves in or the horrors we might see.

we serve our country protecting the people and go to countries we thought we would never see we keep the peach engage with the enemy and have nightmares of sights we can’t un see.

I am fundraising to help a veteran of the green howards with 9 yrs service to this great country carrying out operational tours in

Northern Ireland 2004

afghanistan 2005

kosovo 2008

I will keep his name anonymous at the moment as he isn’t able to give his consent for me to fundraise.

this veteran had a stroke last year and has been unable to work since although he has tried to gain his health back it just hasn’t worked out for him being a proud soldier he has kept his struggles to himself and taken the burden of this nightmare on his shoulders. Just last week he was rushed to hospital suffering from another stroke his family are suffering his life is a mess.
