In Memory of Brayden
As if 2020 weren’t hard enough, shortly before Christmas my parents were given terrible news, Brayden has stage 4 lung cancer. Those of you that know my family personally know that Brayden is our backbone, in MANY ways. I’ve typed, erased, and started over several times now, trying to find the words so you’re able to understand just how kickass he is. Brayden is the parent you go to because you know he’ll say yes and help at the drop of a hat. He’s the parent that fixes your roof, fixes your friends roof (for free), helps remodel your bathroom, comes over after working 12+ hours to help deal with your flooded basement, removes hundreds of pounds of pebbles from your yard, borrow you his truck, fix your sink, and build you a raised garden bed in 15 minutes. I could go on and on. There’s no way I could ever repay him for even a fraction of the things he’s done for me throughout my life, but maybe together we can make a dent in his medical expenses. Since receiving his diagnosis Brayden has stopped working to focus on his health and his family. As I’m sure you can imagine, fighting stage 4 lung cancer as the main provider for a family of 5 is unthinkable. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and if you’re unable to help financially - send a few positive thoughts into the universe ❤️
