Hello, my name is Brayden Burks I’m so excited to have the opportunity to minister on my first-ever mission trip in Africa this summer! I believe that this mission trip will change my life, and I can't wait to see God move through the friends that I am bringing with me this year. I pray that when I go to Africa, God will teach me how to walk in the power and authority that Christ has made available to us through His love displayed on the cross. I can't wait to see my friends be a part of what I have seen in bringing the Kingdom to earth in Zambia! 2023 has already turned out to be a grounding year, as I have been drawn deeper into the understanding of the Scriptures and God’s heart for His children. Hence the desire to be sent once again!

For two weeks, I will travel with 30 others in my group to remote villages within the country of Zambia. The vision of Overland is to go where others won't and to share the gospel. Regardless of whether it's too rugged, remote, or uncomfortable for most people, my desire is to do whatever it takes to boldly proclaim the Good News of Jesus. On this expedition, we will do whatever is necessary to fulfill the mandate God has placed on our lives to preach to every tribe, nation, and tongue. Sometimes this looks like chopping down trees that block our path, crossing small streams on foot to get to a neighboring village, or just showing up and having a meal with a family who needs to see the love of Christ. In all things, though, we desire for God to lead the way and for His name to be glorified among the Nations.

With all this being said, the total trip cost is $4,600. This amazing and exciting opportunity to fundraise allows God to grow our faith in trusting Him in the process. While we trust, He provides us with the monetary and spiritual partners to set forth in victory for the Kingdom of Heaven, while He is glorified in the process of humbling us. Sow into this trip to partner together with the miracles that are going to take place on this trip and the lives that are going to be impacted!
