In loving memory of Rosa German Valentin Ruiz

Hello family and friends, with such heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Rosa on April 20th, 2022.

We are kindly asking all of our friends and family to come together and help us reach our goal to have a proper funeral and services in her honor.

My mother was 53 years of age. She was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 28. Her health was on a constant rollercoaster throughout these last couple of years starting with her high blood pressure, her sugar levels through the roof; her kidneys soon became affected, which only arose more health concerns.

Last week was our last doctor vist which only came along with more bad news. We were already told that both her kidneys were at a 33% and that soon she would have to start dyalisis. Having her kidneys in bad shape due to so much medication over the years was now affecting her heart aswell.

None of us were ready nor did my mother want to undergo treatment but her doctor gave us no choice than to start her dyalisis this May. Instructions given to us was to continue her regular daily medication, maintain her sugar levels and blood pressure within normal range until the start of her dyalisis.

On Wednesday April 20 around 3:40 AM my father thought she was sleeping, when he suddenly realized she was a bit cold when he touched her hand. He instantly tried to wake her up and no response. It tragically beacme apparent that she had stopped breathing... As soon as my sibilings realized the situation they immedietly called 911. Within minutes they arrived and started compresions. 8 paramedics in attendance, forty five miutes later did a single paramedic come out of the room to inform us that our mother had passed. Her death was considered a Natural Death which meant that she did not suffer. Our mother just did not wake up anymore.

May she rest in Paradise.

My mother Rosa was such a loving, caring and devoted human being. She was always such a Haappy person and would be the first to start the party mode. She was always so helpful to our community and constantly supported community events and was always so active and devoted. She was so hardworking and never wanted to stay contempt.

She would constantly show us & her friends and other close individuals her love and support.

Despite her overall health problems, my mother didnt let her illness become her setback. She would get up everyday and fight for another day with us. She never gave up , she always gave it her all... through it all. She was so brave through it all. We love you mom you fought till the end.

Hola familia y amigos, con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra amada Madre, Rosa, el 20 de abril de 2022.

Les pedimos amablemente a todos nuestros amigos y familiares que se unan y nos ayuden a alcanzar nuestra meta de tener un funeral y servicios apropiados en su honor.

Mi madre tenía 53 años. Le diagnosticaron diabetes a la edad de 28 años. Su salud estuvo en una montaña rusa constante durante estos últimos años, comenzando con su presión arterial alta, sus niveles de azúcar por las nubes; sus riñones pronto se vieron afectados, lo que solo generó más problemas de salud.

La semana pasada fue nuestra última visita al médico, que solo vino acompañada de más malas noticias. Ya nos dijeron que sus dos riñones estaban al 33% y que pronto tendría que empezar diálisis. Tener los riñones en mal estado debido a tantos medicamentos a lo largo de los años ahora también estaba afectando su corazón.

Ninguno de nosotros estabamos listos ni mi madre quería someterse a un tratamiento, pero su médico no nos dio más remedio que comenzar su diálisis este mes de mayo. Las instrucciones que nos dieron fueron continuar con su medicación diaria regular, mantener sus niveles de azúcar y presión arterial dentro del rango normal hasta el comienzo de su diálisis.

El miércoles 20 de abril alrededor de las 3:40 am mi padre pensó que estaba durmiendo, cuando de repente se dio cuenta de que tenía un poco de frío cuando le tocó la mano. Instantáneamente trató de despertarla y no obtuvo respuesta. Trágicamente se hizo evidente que había dejado de respirar... Tan pronto como mis hermanos se dieron cuenta de la situación, llamaron de inmediato al 911. En cuestión de minutos llegaron y comenzaron las compresiones. 8 paramédicos presentes, cuarenta cinco minutos después salió un solo paramédico de la habitación para informarnos que nuestra madre había fallecido. Su muerte fue considerada una Muerte Natural, lo que significa que no sufrió. Nuestra madre simplemente no se despertó más.

Que ella descanse en el Paraíso.

Mi madre Rosa era un ser humano tan amorosa, cariñosa y devoto. Siempre fue una persona feliz y sería la primera en iniciar el modo fiesta. Ella siempre fue muy útil para nuestra comunidad y apoyó constantemente los eventos comunitarios y siempre fue muy activa y dedicada. Ella era muy trabajadora y nunca le gustaba qudarse sentada.

Constantemente nos mostraba a nosotros, a sus amigos y a otras personas cercanas su amor y apoyo.

A pesar de sus problemas generales de salud, mi madre no permitió que su enfermedad se convirtiera en su contratiempo. Ella se levantaba todos los días y luchaba por otro día con nosotros. Ella nunca se rindió, siempre lo dio todo... a través de todo. Ella fue tan valiente a través de todo. Te amamos mamá luchaste hasta el final.
