Scott Downing, from Tipp City, had a serious brain injury on January 27th, 2024 that left him unconscious and led him into a diabetic keto acidosis and his right side to be paralyzed. Scott succumbed to his injuries February 9th, 2024 after suffering a cardiac arrest in the hospital. His family has not asked for financial assistance but I believe with Joe losing his brother and father in a period of a week is devastating and he and his wife could use support from the community. This fundraising is to assist his brother Joe and his wife Ileana in upcoming medical, memorial services and funeral costs for Scott.

Scott impacted many lives in his 50 years with us. Brother, friend, teacher, coach. He had a large community of friends visiting him in the hospital and his loss is a shock to us all.
