Earlier today Steven Chad Sharpe I involved in a serious motorcycle wreck on South Gloster while heading to work. A vehicle stopped across his lane, leaving me no room to avoid impact. The result is a shattered right leg just below the knee. He will be undergoing multiple procedures, starting with an external fixator attached to the femur and lower leg. Once the swelling goes down, surgeons will make two incisions and place plates on both sides of the upper shin to stabilize the tibia and fibula. By the grace of God, there were no other injuries and not even any road rash.

He will be having another surgery on the 15th.
