Hey guys! For those who don't know me, my name is Yung Kriss, & I am a christian hip hop artist! For years I have been ministering to the youth through my music. I believe that God has given me the ability & the personality to relate to the youth in a unique way. I've always known that I have a talent for music, but it wasn't until 2013, when I became a christian, that I learned the calling behind my talent. In 2014 I released my first mixtape & then in 2015 I released my first album titled "Not So Young" under the record label Nkosi Records. Since then, the record label has shut down & I am now an independent artist. I decided to take 3 years off of creating new music after the loss of my brother in 2015, & then having my first child in 2016. Now, after 3 years of grieving & learning how to be a husband & a father, I've come to a place to finally create again.  It took time for God to work on my heart & deal with some doubts & depression that I had stored up. It all lead to a realization I had during a bible study at Starbucks one Thursday morning with some mentors of mine. We were training on how to disciple, & learning why we disciple. In 2 Corinthians 5, it states that anyone who is in Christ is a "new creation". The old has passed away & the new has come.  I read how we now have the "ministry of reconciliation, & how Jesus became sin so that we may become the "righteousness of God". My mentor Tim said "This is The Jesus Exchange"! Since then, I knew that God wanted me to use that. So, I worked with some close friends & partners & created a new album that I am releasing July 27th, 2018! But, I need your help! Since the closing of my record label, I have been limited in where & when I can record, & I am having to fund the entire project out of pocket, which I am fine with. But, I felt lead to put aside pride & ask you for your help! I am raising money to fund my album & to also get the necessary equipment for a studio to be able to continue making music without any restrictions. If you feel lead, please help me in reaching my goal of $3000! I need to raise these funds by July 31st, 2018! A lot goes into to making music, & even more goes into marketing & distributing it, & I can't do this on my own.
