Emergency Help

Hi, my name is Dylan, and I have not had a great start to this year.

Back in January, I had lost my job and immediately began looking for work. In that space of time I have been fortunate enough to find a new job to start to get me back on my feet. However as of last week I was hospitalized after a severe case of sepsis almost cost me my life, and had to have a major abscess surgically removed.

The recovery period will take me several weeks to a month to fully heal, and because my work is physical in nature it means I will not be able to start working until the end of March/Start of April. Unfortunately I have no means to support myself through this period.

Like many others I have been affected by the cost of living crisis in the UK and still have debt that I had to take during the Covid-19 pandemic to pay off. I am turning to the kindness of strangers to ease the burden and keep myself afloat.

For the sake of transparency I am including my expected expenses that this money will go towards covering:

Rent: £370

Bills: £175

Debt: £263

Food: £150

Other expenses: £42
