Help Maria walk again

Hi, my name is Simon.

For the past 18 months my wife Maria has been suffering from agonising hip and joint pains that have left her almost completely immobile. When I met Maria she ran over 40 miles a week, now she cannot walk to the end of the street. She spends every moment of every day in acute agony, and the strongest pain medication that can be prescribed does not help the pain at all. She is confined to a wheelchair and has to sleep sat upright to try and reduce the pain. The NHS have exhausted their means of support and have still not been able to diagnose what the issue is. We are now looking to get private support to help Maria so that she can finally get  a diagnosis and whatever treatment is required to get her happy and healthy again but the costs of this are more than we can afford.
