Jalan Dickerson

Dear Friends and Family:

I never thought we would be here on gofundme asking for help but sadly we are.  My 26 year old son Jalan Dickerson is extremely ill and is now in intensive care fighting to stay alive.

This past June Jalan became ill.  After months of doctors visits, hospital visits and  multiple rounds of diagnostic testing we still do not have a  confirmed diagnosis as to what is causing his illness.  Jalan is now suffering from congestive heart failure, stage 4 kidney failure and liver failure.  The doctors are trying to figure out what is causing all of this and believe he has some type of autoimmune disorder that is attacking his major organs.  Until they figure this out for sure they cannot start a treatment program and are hoping to keep him stable enough to keep going.  At this time his heart is extremely weak and only functions at about 20% capacity on a good day.  If a diagnosis is not confirmed very soon and a treatment plan in place Jalan will need a heart transplant.  Jalan has not been able to work since June, has no medical insurance and is unable to pay his bills.  This is creating even more stress on top of everything else he is going through.  Our family helps as much as possible but it just is not enough.   We are now reaching out to raise funds to help Jalan with medical bills, personal bills, medicine, food etc.  This will help to ease some of the burden weighing heavy on him so that he can concentrate on getting better.  We would like to say thank you in advance for your donation and GOD Bless You for opening your hearts.
