Baby Graham Densemore Herrick was born on Sunday August 23, 2015 at 6:37 a.m. to loving parents, Amanda and Brian Herrick. Graham was a long awaited, loved, and hoped for baby.
Amanda and Brian were told by doctors at their 5 month ultrasound that there was too little amniotic fluid and, baby would not survive because he wouldn't be able to breathe on his own due to under developed lungs.
They seeked a second opinion which gave them hope and options. Hope to which they held on to til the very end and options that were very costly.
Baby Graham was able to meet his loving parents. His daddy got to hold him first. He got speak to his momma and she held him tightly, caressed his precious soft face, and spoke to him until he took his very last breath.
Now Amanda and Brian must go through the painful process of preparing for the funeral of their newborn child after only getting one hour with him.
Having to go through a high risk pregnancy requires more doctor's visits, more tests, more procedures, surgery, treatment for her and baby, and on top of that preparations for funeral services. This is a huge financial burden all at once.
Amanda will not be able to return to work for about a month due to her surgery and to grieve the loss of her baby. Brian will also need to take time off to take care of Amanda and grieve with her.
We appreciate all your thoughts, well wishes, and prayers for Amanda, Brian and their families as we mourn the loss of precious baby Graham. Any financial assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated to help them get through this horrible tragic loss.
