Hello,

My husband of 25+ years has always been the rock and financial stability for our family. In the past year his health has declined to a point where he is unable to work due to a recent diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. He may still continue to do some work, but not at the capacity he worked before.  It has slowed down quite a bit and will probably continue to slow down even more. I work at a local grocery store, and am looking to find an affordable place to move to. This not only affects us but our daughter as well. She too will be having to look for another place to live about 6 months sooner than expected.

Why I'm fundraising

Due to the diagnosis and him not being able to work, we are currently struggling to pay our rent. Along with not being able to pay our rent, another unfortunate circumstance has arisen. Our landlord has decided to sell her other home and move back in the home we are currently living in. We recently received a 60 notice to move out. It isn’t an eviction notice, just a move out notice. Unfortunately our landlord is not very accommodating and will not be offering any leniency of paying rent. We are in desperate need of help just to make it through these next two months.

The impact of your support

We will use this money to help sustain us rent wise the next two months, rent a storage unit and get into another place to live. We were not prepared for this sudden change of living situation and of coursed devastated with the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s for my husband. Any help is always appreciated.
